Al Durry landed a Southwell contest in October for Shadwell and has since been bought by Strawberry Fields Stud, suggesting the new owners have a useful filly.

More exposed, but dangerous if in form, are previous winners Lordsbridge Blu and Serious Look. Both arrive with race fitness and claims and cannot be written off despite Al Durry’s unexposed profile.

In-form Bergamo Gold looks to complete a quick hat-trick with Jason Hart booked. She opened her account earlier this month and followed up eight days later, overcoming a six-pound rise. A further three-pound penalty today still leaves her lightly raced with just seven career starts, so improvement is possible.

James Owen’s Causing Problems has been gelded since his last run and may progress for the operation. Overall the field appears fairly open beyond Bergamo Gold.
