About Us
Who we are, what we cover and the standards we hold ourselves to.
Sports World Zone is an independent sports news website for fans who want to keep up with everything that matters across the sporting calendar, in one place and without the noise.
What we cover
Football sits at the heart of what we do, from the Premier League, the EFL and Scottish football to European competition, the international game and the women's game. Alongside it we follow Formula 1, cricket, rugby union and rugby league, tennis, golf, boxing, horse racing, darts and snooker, with regular coverage of the NFL, the NBA, motorsport and athletics.
Day to day that means match reports and results, transfer news and contract stories, previews of the fixtures and events coming up, reaction from players and managers, and features that look beyond the scoreline at the people and the trends shaping each sport.
How we work
Our aim is to be quick without being careless. We check our facts before we publish, we attribute quotes and information to their source, and we keep a clear line between reporting what has happened and offering opinion or analysis. When we make a mistake, we correct it promptly and openly. Our full approach is set out in our Editorial Policy.
Sports World Zone is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any league, governing body, club, team or broadcaster. Team names, competition names and trademarks are used only to identify the subject of our reporting and remain the property of their owners.
