Will Fury Face Joshua in 2026?

Saturday 11 April 2026, 21:36 UK — Sky Sports’ Andy Scott previews Tyson Fury’s ring return tonight against Arslanbek Makhmudov, noting that much of the buildup has revolved around persistent talk of a potential clash with Anthony Joshua in 2026. What should be a straightforward tune-up has instead been overshadowed by speculation about a megafight, prompting debate among fans and pundits about when — or if — the bout could happen, what terms might be acceptable and how realistic the proposals are. Tonight’s meeting with Makhmudov is being scrutinised not just as a test in its own right but as an indicator of Fury’s form, fitness and momentum ahead of any future negotiations, with performances and post-fight comments likely to shape the ongoing conversation about a showdown with Joshua.
