Asia Rugby President Qais Al Dhalai expressed gratitude to Jordan Rugby for taking on the challenge of hosting, highlighting the event’s role in promoting and growing rugby in the region.
“Providing opportunities for our member unions to compete is central to growing rugby across Asia,” remarked Al Dhalai.
For Jordan Rugby’s President, Feisal Al-Sadoun, this event marks a monumental moment in Jordan's sports history. He stated, “Bringing 14 national teams from nine countries to Aqaba is about more than rugby. It connects nations and showcases Jordan’s hospitality and stunning Red Sea backdrop.”
Preparing for the Big Event
The organization of this tournament, occurring in a short time frame, reflects the dedication and hard work from the Jordan Rugby team and its volunteers. Al-Sadoun commended their efforts, highlighting the collaborative spirit required to bring this significant event to fruition.
