Get Ready for a Festive Rugby Experience!
This holiday season, the Bristol Bears Foundation invites young athletes to enhance their rugby skills at the Player Development Camps, held from December 21st to 23rd. Designed for boys and girls aged U8-U14, these camps promise to deliver a mix of skill development, fun, and festive cheer.
Instruction from Expert Coaches
Led by a team of skilled and experienced coaches, the camps provide an excellent environment for players of all skill levels. Participants will not only learn important techniques but also gain insights into professional training habits and routines. Through enjoyable activities, campers will build their confidence while honing their rugby capabilities.
Camps Schedule and Locations
The camps kick off at the Lockleaze Sports Centre for a mixed group on December 21st. Following that, on December 22nd, there will be a girls-only camp at Hornets RFC, along with mixed camps at North Bristol RFC. The final day features another mixed camp at Hornets RFC on December 23rd. Below is the detailed schedule:
- Monday, December 21: Lockleaze Sports Centre, U8-U14, 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM
- Tuesday, December 22: North Bristol RFC, U8-U14, 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Hornets RFC (Girls Only), U8-U14, 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM - Wednesday, December 23: Hornets RFC (Mixed), U8-U14, 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Beyond Just Rugby
In collaboration with Trust Ford, these camps go beyond traditional training. They offer young athletes a chance to make new friends, engage in team-building activities, and develop essential life skills and teamwork. The focus is as much on personal growth and camaraderie as it is on sportsmanship.
