Jan Brueghel Back in Business — Chester Day Two Highlights

Aidan O'Brien and Ryan Moore were once again the headline act on day two of the Chester May Festival. Jan Brueghel returned to form with an authoritative performance in the feature, while stablemate Constitution River also asserted themselves to take the other big race on the card.

Both winners looked comfortable in their races, confirming the trainer and jockey partnership's strong start to the week at Chester. Jan Brueghel produced a decisive move when it mattered and finished with plenty in hand, and Constitution River matched that pattern to dominate its contest.

The pair’s victories maintained O'Brien’s impressive festival record and kept Ryan Moore busy in the winner’s enclosure. The Chester May Festival now moves on to day three, with more high-quality action to follow as connections and racing fans look to build on the momentum shown today.
