Dubois vs Harper: Who Will Unify Lightweight Gold?

With the lightweight world titles at stake, experts have shared their verdicts ahead of Caroline Dubois vs Terri Harper, live on Sky Sports from 7pm on Sunday.

Mikaela Mayer (two-weight champion) says Dubois' amateur background gives her an edge. She sees a technically solid Dubois edging a close fight on the cards, with Harper unlikely to be stopped.

Nina Meinke (IBF featherweight champion) also leans to Dubois, calling her the stronger and tougher boxer, but admits she’s rooting for Harper because of her character and toughness.

Johnny Nelson (former world champion) was struck by Harper’s strength at the face-off and expects a gritty contest. He now believes Dubois could win inside the distance if the pair trade, but it won’t be straightforward.

Frazer Clarke (Olympic medallist) highlights Harper’s experience but feels this version of Dubois brings a renewed aggression. Clarke predicts that edge could be enough for Dubois to stop Harper.

Claressa Shields (multi-weight undisputed champion) is a fan of Dubois’ mindset and steady improvement, praising her ambition and potential to become a major force.

Lawrence Okolie (former world champion) calls it a great matchup, saying Dubois may be among the best boxers on the scene and should use the fight to prove herself against a seasoned champion like Harper.
