Can Rahm and DeChambeau Rejoin the PGA Tour?

Thursday 30 April 2026 — Eamon Lynch told Golf Today on the Golf Channel that a return to the PGA or DP World Tours for Jon Rahm or Bryson DeChambeau would be extremely difficult. Lynch highlighted major barriers to any comeback, pointing to strained relations between the competing circuits and the legal, contractual and reputational complications that follow players who left for LIV Golf.

He warned that LIV Golf itself faces an uncertain future unless it secures new investment, arguing the series is unlikely to be sustainable without fresh financial backing or a significant shift in the wider professional golf landscape. Lynch said that, unless the tours reach a negotiated settlement or substantial outside funding appears, both the chances of Rahm or DeChambeau rejoining the PGA/DP World circuits and LIV’s long‑term viability remain unclear.
