Andalucía Open de España — Day One Highlights

Round one of the Andalucía Open de España produced an entertaining opening chapter. The course proved testing in spots but offered scoring chances, and the leaderboard began to take shape as players settled in for the week. England’s Mimi Rhodes was a focal point on day one as she continues her push for the Ladies European Tour Order of Merit, posting a competitive opening round and positioning herself well for the challenges ahead.

Other competitors put together flashes of strong golf, with birdie runs and steady ball-striking splitting the early leaders from the chasing pack. Conditions and strategic play will be key as the tournament progresses, with many players eyeing momentum heading into the weekend. Round two promises more movement and another chance for contenders, including Rhodes, to stake their claim for the title and valuable Order of Merit points.
