Thursday’s live Flat coverage on Sky Sports Racing features meetings at Lingfield, Southwell and Yarmouth.
4.57 Yarmouth — Zighy and You’ll Think Of Me feature
A field of eight lines up for the Sky Sports Virgin 519 Fillies’ Handicap over seven furlongs.
George Boughey’s Zighy is a 3-year-old who finally broke her maiden at the fifth attempt and followed up with an all-weather success at Southwell 15 days ago. Bought for 400,000gns as a yearling, she returns to turf with Billy Loughnane booked and looks to complete a hat-trick.
You’ll Think Of Me, ridden by David Egan, scored on her stable debut in December for Kevin Philippart De Foy. The 500,000gns yearling makes her first turf start for 150 days and aims to build on that victory.
Ed Walker’s Moonshine teams up with James Doyle. She has been in the frame in all four career starts and produced a career-best when breaking her duck last month; she steps back up to seven furlongs. Also of interest are Brisky Symphony (Jonathan Portman) and Here I Bow (Oli Rix).
5.40 Lingfield — Bella Bisbee and Havana Touch seek successive wins
Ten go to post in the Sky Sports Racing Virgin 512 Handicap over seven furlongs.
John Butler’s Havana Touch, partnered by Luke Morris, won at Kempton earlier this month and drops back to seven furlongs for the first time since a victory at the same trip in May last year.
Bella Bisbee, trained by Scott Dixon and ridden by Kieran O’Neill, is another recent winner over course and distance 16 days ago and bids for a fourth career success over seven furlongs.
Bold Suitor (Craig Benton) was a length behind Bella Bisbee last time under Georgia Dobie but carries three pounds less on this return to Lingfield. Keep an eye on Daisy Roots (Jim Boyle), Spirit Lead Me (Richard Hughes) and Virtue Patience, who wears first-time cheekpieces.
7.30 Southwell — Roberto Caro and Station X clash again
Eight contest the Free Race Replays On attheraces.com Handicap over six furlongs, including Roberto Caro and Station X.
Adrian Keatley’s Roberto Caro is looking for his first win since prevailing in the Racing League at Chepstow in August, edging home by a neck. Station X arrives on a run of four consecutive placings and previously finished nearly two lengths clear of Roberto Caro at Southwell; this time Roberto Caro is two pounds better off at the weights.
Stanely Spencer (James Tate) has produced several encouraging performances since his last victory in September and could add a fifth career success with Clifford Lee booked. Also of interest are Alondra (Scott Dixon) and Tough Enough (Antony Brittain).
