Magic Weekend returns to Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium on July 4 and 5, 2026. The 19th Betfred Super League Magic Weekend — a full round of Super League fixtures staged across one weekend — will be shown live on Sky Sports.
Everton’s new ground, which recently hosted a sell-out Ashes Test of 52,106 spectators (the first non-football event at the stadium), will welcome six matches over two days.
Saturday, July 4
– Huddersfield Giants vs York Knights (York’s Magic debut)
– Hull KR vs Hull FC (2025 champions Hull KR vs local rivals)
– Leigh Leopards vs Warrington Wolves
Sunday, July 5
– Wakefield Trinity vs Castleford Tigers
– Leeds Rhinos vs Bradford Bulls (Bradford’s first Magic Weekend since 2012)
– Wigan Warriors vs St Helens (traditional weekend finale)
Kick-off times will be confirmed in due course.
Organisers are also exploring a dedicated Magic fixture in France, with Catalans Dragons vs Toulouse Olympique a potential neutral-venue match across the Channel; date and venue are to be confirmed.
Rhodri Jones, Rugby League commercial managing director, said this will be the seventh venue to stage Magic since the event began in 2007 and that clubs, players and fans are in for a treat. Everton described the stadium as a stunning waterfront venue with excellent facilities and many nearby attractions, and said it plans enhanced hospitality and fan experiences around the Plaza outside the stadium for Magic Weekend.
