Arsenal marked their long-awaited Premier League triumph with late-night celebrations that stretched into the early hours — including a 5am visit to the Emirates and plenty of champagne.
The Gunners were confirmed as champions after Manchester City’s draw with Bournemouth left Arsenal uncatchable at the top with one game remaining. Players had gathered at the club’s London Colney training base to watch the result and erupted into jubilant scenes when the title was secured.
Several members of the squad were later filmed outside the Emirates in the small hours. Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka, Eberechi Eze and Jurrien Timber were among those seen taking pictures and mingling with the remaining fans around the ground at about 5am. Earlier celebrations at the stadium had drawn large crowds and featured familiar faces from football and beyond.
Social media captured more of the mood. Eze posted an early-morning image of captain Martin Ødegaard posing with an Arsenal water bottle, a playful nod to a viral moment earlier in the season when a Manchester City supporter mimicked drinking from a similar bottle. Saka shared an Instagram story showing Myles Lewis-Skelly with a bottle of champagne and saying: “They called us bottlers, but now we’ve got the bottle in our hands.” Rice also posted on Instagram, simply noting: “I told you all… it’s done,” referencing his earlier insistence within the squad that the job was not yet finished.
The celebrations were reflected across the club’s channels and in reaction pieces worldwide. Former manager Arsène Wenger released an emotional video message raising a toast to the players. Media back pages and social networks buzzed with congratulations, while players and fans alike savoured the moment after years of near-misses and runner-up finishes.
On the pitch and off it, images from the evening showed group hugs, raised glasses and jubilant scenes at both London Colney and the Emirates, as Arsenal and their supporters celebrated the club’s first Premier League title in 22 years.
