Thursday’s live Flat action on Sky Sports Racing features meetings at Lingfield, Southwell and Yarmouth.
4.57 Yarmouth – Zighy and You’ll Think Of Me feature
A field of eight contest the Sky Sports Virgin 519 Fillies’ Handicap over seven furlongs.
George Boughey fields Zighy, a 3-year-old who broke her duck at the fifth attempt and followed up with an all-weather success at Southwell 15 days ago. Purchased for 400,000gns as a yearling, she returns to turf with Billy Loughnane booked as she seeks a hat-trick.
You’ll Think Of Me, ridden by David Egan, won on stable debut in December for Kevin Philippart De Foy. The 500,000gns yearling arrives on her first turf start for 150 days and looks to build on that victory.
Ed Walker and James Doyle combine with Moonshine, who has finished in the top three in all four career starts and recorded a personal best when breaking her duck last month; she steps back up to seven furlongs. Brisky Symphony (Jonathan Portman) and Here I Bow (Oli Rix) are others to note.
5.40 Lingfield – Bella Bisbee and Havana Touch seek successive wins
Ten go to post in the Sky Sports Racing Virgin 512 Handicap over seven furlongs.
John Butler’s Havana Touch, partnered by Luke Morris, won at Kempton earlier in the month and drops back to seven furlongs for the first time since a win at the track in May last year.
Bella Bisbee, trained by Scott Dixon and ridden by Kieran O’Neill, is another last-time-out winner over course and distance 16 days ago and bids for a fourth career victory over seven furlongs.
Bold Suitor (Craig Benton) finished a length behind Bella Bisbee last time under Georgia Dobie but carries three pounds less today on this return to Lingfield. Daisy Roots (Jim Boyle), Spirit Lead Me (Richard Hughes) and Virtue Patience (wearing first-time cheekpieces) complete the list of runners to watch.
7.30 Southwell – Roberto Caro and Station X clash again
Eight contest the Free Race Replays On attheraces.com Handicap over six furlongs, including Roberto Caro and Station X.
Adrian Keatley’s Roberto Caro is seeking his first win since prevailing in the Racing League at Chepstow in August, where he held on by a neck. Station X has four consecutive placings, including a near two-length success over Roberto Caro at Southwell; Roberto Caro, however, is two pounds better off at the weights this time.
Stanely Spencer (James Tate) has produced several encouraging runs since his last win in September and looks to add a fifth career success with Clifford Lee booked. Alondra (Scott Dixon) and Tough Enough (Antony Brittain) are also of interest.
