National teams are naming squads ahead of the 2026 World Cup, with many final and provisional lists released and others due in the coming days. Each of the 48 nations must register a squad of 23–26 players (including three goalkeepers) by Tuesday 2 June. Only players on those lists may take part, although a player from the provisional squad can be called up as a late injury or illness replacement up to 24 hours before a team’s first match.
