Max Verstappen returns to the Nürburgring this weekend for a double-header in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie (NLS), continuing his build-up to May’s Nürburgring 24 Hours. Both rounds — NLS4 and NLS5 — are four-hour GT3 races at the Nordschleife.
With April’s Formula 1 calendar reduced after the Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grands Prix were cancelled, Verstappen has added these NLS outings to his growing GT3 programme. He shares the Red Bull-liveried Mercedes-AMG GT3 for Verstappen Racing with experienced endurance driver Lucas Auer, nephew of former F1 racer Gerhard Berger. The car is one of 37 GT3 entries contesting the latest rounds at the Green Hell.
Watch live streams of both races on skysports.com and via the Sky Sports app. Saturday’s coverage begins at 4:00pm UK (race starts 4:30pm), and Sunday’s stream starts at 11:30am UK (race starts 12:00pm). Each race lasts four hours.
These events mark Verstappen’s third and fourth NLS GT3 races. He won on his NLS debut last September, driving a Ferrari 296 GT3 alongside Britain’s Chris Lulham. On his most recent appearance the team crossed the line first in the Mercedes but were later disqualified for exceeding the permitted tyre allocation.
Formula 1 returns on May 1–3 with the Miami Grand Prix, the season’s second Sprint weekend, live on Sky Sports F1. You can stream Sky Sports via NOW with no contract.
