Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are all reported to be interested in a summer move for Aston Villa forward Morgan Rogers.
Rogers signed a long-term contract with Villa last year that runs until 2031, but his continued development under Unai Emery is expected to attract bids for the 23-year-old. With five years left on his deal, Villa hold a strong negotiating position and could command a significant fee for one of the market’s more sought-after young attackers.
Villa are also pushing for Champions League qualification, sitting fourth in the table with a five-point cushion over Liverpool in fifth, and they have one foot in the Europa League semi-finals after a 3-1 win over Bologna on Thursday.
Since arriving from Middlesbrough in a deal worth up to £16m in 2024, Rogers has produced 27 goals and 21 assists in 115 appearances for Villa. The former Manchester City youth international has been on the radar of Europe’s leading clubs for some time and was linked with moves last summer before committing his future to Villa.
Arsenal are said to be searching for a new left-wing option this summer, with Rogers named alongside Newcastle’s Anthony Gordon and PSG’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. Manchester United are also targeting reinforcements on the left flank, reportedly tracking RB Leipzig’s Yan Diomande and Everton’s Iliman Ndiaye in addition to Rogers.
Chelsea could include a forward among their incoming recruits, while PSG regularly look to add top talent to their squad. A standout showing for England at the upcoming World Cup in June would further boost Rogers’s profile and increase his appeal on the transfer market.
