Eamon Lynch told Golf Today on the Golf Channel that a return to the PGA or European Tours for Jon Rahm or Bryson DeChambeau will prove to be very difficult for the pair. Lynch said any comeback would face significant obstacles given the current state of relations between the competing tours and the contractual and reputational complications surrounding players who joined LIV Golf.
He also warned that LIV Golf will struggle to continue without fresh investment, suggesting the circuit’s long-term viability depends on new financial backing or a major change in the broader professional golf landscape. Lynch implied that, absent a negotiated resolution between the tours or substantial outside funding, both the prospects for Rahm and DeChambeau rejoining the PGA/DP World circuits and LIV’s future are uncertain.
