Sky Sports and Zuffa Boxing have agreed a multi-year broadcast partnership for the UK and Ireland that will bring Zuffa-promoted events to Sky’s platforms, including a minimum of five shows per year on UK soil.
The deal broadens Sky Sports’ long-running boxing coverage, which has delivered historic moments from Frank Bruno vs Mike Tyson and Ricky Hatton to Naseem Hamed’s shows and Anthony Joshua at Wembley across more than three decades.
Zuffa Boxing, launched in 2025 as a joint venture between TKO Group Holdings and entertainment firm Sela, is led by UFC president and CEO Dana White and WWE president and TKO board member Nick Khan. The promotion says it aims to reshape boxing’s model and raise the sport’s global profile. Zuffa recently promoted the Canelo Alvarez vs Terence Crawford super-fight and has signed notable names including Conor Benn and cruiserweight Jai Opetaia. In its first two months the Las Vegas-based company staged four cards at the Meta APEX, emphasizing competitive, 50-50 matchups.
Sky Sports Chief Officer UK & Ireland Jonathan Licht said the broadcaster shares Zuffa’s ambition to build stars and showcase elite boxing both domestically and internationally. Dana White praised the passion of UK fans and described Sky Sports as the right platform to present top-level boxing in the region, calling the agreement a major milestone for Zuffa Boxing.
The first Zuffa event to be shown on Sky will be ZUFFA BOXING 05: CORTES vs GARCIA on Sunday 5 April from the Meta APEX in Las Vegas. The main event features unbeaten contender Andres Cortes (24-0, 13 KOs) against Eridson Garcia (23-1, 14 KOs). Chief support includes former world champion Mark Magsayo (28-2, 18 KOs) versus Ireland’s Feargal McCrory (17-1, 9 KOs).
Sky Sports and Zuffa Boxing said they will publish a fuller fight schedule for the remainder of 2026 in the coming weeks.
