Declan Rice missed Arsenal’s open training session on Tuesday, the day before their Champions League quarter‑final second leg against Sporting CP. His absence from the public session doesn’t automatically rule him out for Wednesday night’s tie, but it is a concern given Arsenal’s busy week.
Arsenal have also been without Jurrien Timber, Bukayo Saka, Martin Ødegaard and Riccardo Calafiori in recent weeks — none of whom took part in Tuesday morning’s open training. The club are expected to provide further fitness updates ahead of the match.
More updates to follow.
