Rangers have completed the signing of Croatia goalkeeper Ivor Pandur from Hull City for a reported £6m. The 26-year-old has agreed a four-year contract with the Glasgow club and is currently with Croatia at the World Cup.
Pandur joined Hull in 2024 and featured in all but one Championship match last season. He kept clean sheets in both play-off semi-finals and the final as Hull secured promotion to the Premier League.
On joining Rangers, Pandur said he is honoured to sign for a club with a rich history, that he came for the opportunity to win, and that he cannot wait to hear Ibrox in full voice. Manager Derek McInnes added that the club are delighted to bring him in, praising Pandur’s presence, strong character and ability to be a commanding figure for the team. McInnes said he looks forward to welcoming Pandur once the goalkeeper returns from World Cup duty.
Meanwhile, Jack Butland is close to moving the opposite way, with Hull understood to be preparing a £3m deal for the experienced keeper. Butland moved to Rangers in 2023 and has made more than 150 appearances for the club after spells in England with Birmingham, Stoke and Crystal Palace.
Butland posted an emotional farewell on Instagram, reflecting on his three years at Rangers, thanking the fans for memorable atmospheres across Europe and saying he leaves with pride and that, for him and his family, it is “once a Ranger, always a Ranger.”
Separately, Sky Sports News understands Rangers are not pursuing a transfer for Dundee defender Luke Graham. Although the 22-year-old impressed at Dens Park last season, the club do not plan to make a move for him during this window.
