Overview
Formula 1 returns to the Las Vegas Strip Circuit as the 2025 title fight enters its decisive final three weeks. Las Vegas starts a season-closing triple-header that finishes in Qatar and Abu Dhabi. Lando Norris arrives as the Drivers’ Championship favourite after back-to-back wins, holding a 24-point lead over team-mate Oscar Piastri with 83 points still available. Piastri and Max Verstappen will need strong weekends to keep their title chances alive.
Form guide
Last year Mercedes were quickest in the cool November conditions, George Russell leading Lewis Hamilton to a one-two, while McLaren and Red Bull were off the pace. Ferrari have secured front-row starts and podiums in both previous Vegas races and will be aiming to bounce back after slipping to fourth in the constructors’ standings in Brazil. The F1 Academy season finale also takes place in Las Vegas, with Mercedes’ Doriane Pin and Ferrari’s Maya Weug contesting the all-female series title.
Las Vegas Strip Circuit
The Las Vegas Strip Circuit is one of F1’s biggest street projects: roughly 3.8 miles long with 17 corners. The track runs past landmarks including the Venetian, the Bellagio fountains and the Paris Eiffel Tower and features a 1.2-mile flat-out blast down the Strip. With pole lap average speeds around 150 mph it is F1’s second-fastest street track after Jeddah and has delivered plenty of overtaking and action in its opening seasons.
Weather
Late-November conditions in Nevada typically mean mild daytime temperatures in the mid-to-high teens Celsius and chilly evenings dropping toward single digits. Sessions are scheduled in late afternoon and evening local time; no rain is currently expected for the 2025 weekend.
