Nelly Korda has claimed her third tournament win of 2026, finishing four shots clear of Arpichaya Yubol at the Riviera Maya Open at Mayakoba. The Chevron Championship winner closed with a composed three-under 69, sinking a sumptuous putt on the 18th after a late mishap to finish 17-under for the tournament.
Korda has not finished lower than second in any of the six events she has played since the start of the year, a run that ties her with Annika Sorenstam as the only other woman to achieve that mark.
“I’m just enjoying myself – I love the competition,” the world No 1 said after her victory. “I love travelling to places like Mexico and all over the world. I’m just having fun. You put the same amount of work in every time – you just never know – it’s golf! I was humbled at the last hole, I had a pretty smooth day otherwise. Everyone out here puts in the work – I’m so thankful to have such a great team around me. We all are super motivated and just happy to be out here.”
Thailand’s Yubol was unable to replicate her Saturday 66, carding a two-under 70 and falling short of mounting a serious challenge to Korda. Further down the leaderboard, England’s Jodi Ewart Shadoff matched Korda’s 69 to finish three-under for the day and tied sixth on the weekend with Spain’s Carlota Ciganda.
What’s next? The LPGA Tour moves to Mountain Ridge in Michigan next week for the Mizuho Americas Open, with all four rounds available live on Sky Sports.
