Watch from Saturday at 4pm as Max Verstappen returns to the Nordschleife to continue his preparations for May’s Nürburgring 24 Hours in a double-header weekend of races in the German track’s endurance series.
With F1 off track in April due to the cancellation of the Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grands Prix, Verstappen has added the NLS4 and NLS5 races to his growing GT3 schedule.
He teams up with experienced endurance driver Lucas Auer, nephew of former F1 driver Gerhard Berger, in the Red Bull-livered Mercedes-AMG GT3 for Verstappen Racing in a 37‑strong GT3 field at ‘The Green Hell’ in the latest rounds of the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie.
Watch live streams of both four-hour races across the weekend on skysports.com and the Sky Sports app. Saturday’s stream starts from 4pm (race 4.30pm) and Sunday’s from 11.30am (race 12pm). All times UK.
This will be the third and fourth time four-time F1 champion Verstappen has raced GT3 machinery in the NLS. He won on his debut last September in a Ferrari 296 GT3 shared with Britain’s Chris Lulham. On his return last month, he and his team-mates again finished first in the Mercedes but were later disqualified after the team exceeded the permitted tyre allocation.
