Australian Hannah Green won the HSBC Women’s World Championship for a second time, holding off fast-finishing American Auston Kim to claim a one-stroke victory. Green, the 2019 Women’s PGA Championship winner, closed with a 69 after an erratic back nine that included three birdies and three bogeys. She tapped in for a bogey at the last to finish 14 under, with a four-round total of 274 at the par-72 Sentosa Golf Club, securing another title in Singapore after also winning there in 2024.
Kim posted the equal-best round of the day, a 67 featuring six birdies and an eagle, but bogeys at the second and the par-three 15th halted her charge. She finished 13 under, one shot behind Green on 275.
Minjee Lee, who had been co-leader with Green entering the final round, produced a frustrating even-par 72 with three birdies and three bogeys and finished tied for third at 11 under alongside Angel Yin (71) and France’s Pauline Roussin-Bouchard (68), both on 277.
Top-ranked Jeeney (Jeeno) Thitikul, fresh off a win last week in Thailand, shot 73 and ended two under, tied for 31st on 287, one shot behind defending champion Lydia Ko, who carded a 72. England’s Charley Hull, Mimi Rhodes and Lottie Woad all finished tied for 10th at six under, with Hull recording a three-under final round.
The 72-player, no-cut tournament was the second of three stops on the LPGA’s early-season Asian swing, with the final event next week on Hainan Island, China.
