Rory McIlroy topped the season-long standings and won the Race to Dubai for a fourth consecutive season, securing a career Grand Slam with victory at The Masters and also winning the Amgen Irish Open. McIlroy narrowly missed defending his DP World Tour Championship title, where Matt Fitzpatrick beat him in a play-off. Robert MacIntyre, Marco Penge, Tommy Fleetwood and others also notched wins during the season.
