Beau Greaves extended her unprecedented winning run on the PDC Women’s Series to 100 matches by winning the year’s opening double-header in Germany.
The Doncaster thrower won Events One and Two on Saturday in Hildesheim to claim a 15th consecutive Women’s Series title and underline her standing as one of the most talented female players ever. Greaves, who will compete on the ProTour as a Tour Card Holder for the next two years, produced a series of commanding performances across both events.
In Event One Greaves reached the quarter-finals having lost just two legs across earlier rounds, whitewashing Cecylia Maria Zora and Bianca Michalczyk and beating Rhian O’Sullivan and Kirsi Viinikainen. She then beat Fallon Sherrock 5-2 in the quarters and dispatched Robyn Byrne 5-0 in the semis. In the final she produced her best showing of the weekend, averaging 98.43, hitting a 161 finish and defeating women’s World Matchplay champion Lisa Ashton 5-2.
After Event One Greaves’ winning streak stood at 93 matches. She continued strongly in Event Two, conceding only a single leg en route to the last eight. She survived a late fightback from Jade Gofford to win 5-3 in the quarters and beat Gemma Hayter 5-2 after racing to a 4-0 lead. In the final she again beat Lisa Ashton, this time 5-0, to complete a century of successive wins.
“I’m really chuffed to win 15 events on the trot. It’s massive,” Greaves said. “I’ve had some games today where I haven’t played too well, but I managed to play well when it mattered and that’s the main thing. I really enjoy playing on the Women’s Series. I don’t feel as much pressure, but I always look to win; I don’t want to get beaten! I’m going to be raging when I get beat because I don’t want it to end. I’m riding my luck a little bit, but that’s darts.”
Greaves already leads the early 2026 Women’s Series rankings by £3,000, with Ashton second ahead of Steph Clarke and Gemma Hayter. The top three in the final Women’s Series rankings will qualify for the 2026/27 Paddy Power World Darts Championship, while the top eight on the rolling 12-month rankings will qualify for July’s Betfred Women’s World Matchplay.
The Women’s Series continues with Events 3-4 at Halle 39 on Sunday.
