WWE also confirmed the news, telling fans that it was “saddened” to hear of Lee’s death. It stated that as a former Tough Enough winner, Lee served as an “inspiration” to many, and offered its “heartfelt condolences” to her family, friends, and fans.
A GoFundMe page was created following the news of Lee’s death, with all the money going to her husband and children to cover the funeral costs. At the time of writing, the page has raised $71,883, massively exceeding the original $20,000 target.
