Buffalo Bills outside linebacker Von Miller turned himself in to police on Thursday in response to an arrest warrant related to a domestic violence case involving his pregnant girlfriend, as reported by the Glenn Heights Police Department in suburban Dallas.

Miller was booked in DeSoto Tri-City Jail, posted bond, and was subsequently released.

Miller is an eight-time Pro Bowl selection, receiving first-team All-Pro honors three times and second-team All-Pro honors four times.

As of 2022, he has the most career sacks of any active player, and the most career sacks in Denver Broncos history, at 110.5.

At the conclusion of the 2015 NFL season, Miller was named Super Bowl MVP in Super Bowl 50.

In 2021, Miller was traded to the Los Angeles Rams and was a member of the team that won Super Bowl LVI.

Buffalo Bills linebacker Von Miller turned himself into a police department in the Dallas area after an arrest warrant was issued on allegations he assaulted a pregnant woman, authorities said Thursday.

Officers were called to a “major disturbance” on the 3100 block of North Harwood Street in Dallas at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dallas police said in a statement.

Miller, 34, a former Super Bowl MVP, and the “victim got into a verbal argument and the suspect assaulted the victim,” police said.

He was gone by the time officers arrived, according to authorities. The victim was treated for minor injuries.

Dallas police issued the warrant on a charge of assault against a pregnant person, officials said.

Miller turned himself in at 3 p.m. Thursday to police in Glenn Heights, a city around 15 miles south of Dallas and in the metro area, and has bonded out of jail, Glenn Heights Police Chief Nick Bristow said.

Miller, his attorney and his agents did not immediately respond to messages seeking comment.

A police affidavit that is part of the warrant says that the person who made the report and Miller have been in a romantic relationship for seven years and they share children together.

Also there was an argument between Miller and the woman, who did not want to travel on her birthday, according to the affidavit. Earlier She slammed a door and Miller became angry and began telling her to get out of the unit, the affidavit said.

Police were called to a “major disturbance” at his home in Dallas, Texas on Wednesday.

Two-time Super Bowl champion Miller, 34, is accused of arguing with a pregnant person then assaulting her.

Police say Miller left the scene before they arrived, while the victim was treated for minor injuries.

The Bills said in a statement they are aware of the matter and “are in the process of gathering more information” while the National Football League said it will “follow all legal developments”.

Miller was previously investigated but not charged for domestic violence in 2021.

The charge of assaulting a pregnant woman is a third-degree felony in Texas and punishable by prison.

Detectives responding to the call said they saw minor abrasions on the woman’s left hand and bruising on her neck, injuries they said were consistent with applied pressure. Bruising was also found on the woman’s abdomen and left bicep.

The woman also shared the video she recorded with investigators where Miller could allegedly be heard telling her to get out.

Miller, police said, left the scene before officers arrived and an arrest warrant was issued for assault on a pregnant person, a third-degree felony.

Also Miller surrendered to police in Glenn Heights, Texas, Thursday afternoon and was freed after posting a $5,000 bond, according to our partners at KRLD radio.

According to an arrest warrant affidavit obtained by NBC 5 on Thursday, the woman said she and Miller were at home Wednesday when they began arguing at about 10:50 a.m. over when they would travel.

When she said she didn’t want to travel on her birthday, she went to an office and slammed the door, which she said upset Miller and he told her to leave.

The woman told police that as she tried to gather some of her things he began to “shove and push her, all while telling her to leave.” Also She said as she pleaded to get her phone and laptop, he took out his phone and recorded the altercation as he continued pushing and shoving her toward the door.

The woman said she told him to stop, and that she was pregnant, but that he kept pushing her, stepped on her feet and caused her to fall back into a chair.
