Brady began dating Brazilian model Gisele Bündchen in December 2006. In 2009, Brady said they had been set up on a blind date by a mutual friend.
Brady and Bündchen married on February 26, 2009, in an intimate Catholic ceremony in Santa Monica, California.
Together, they have two children: a son, Benjamin Rein Brady, born in December 2009, and a daughter, Vivian Lake Brady, born in December 2012.
In October 2022 the couple announced on Instagram, that they had finalized a divorce, ending 13 years of marriage.
Brady and Bündchen’s marriage had been the subject of various tabloid rumors and speculation earlier in the year after Brady came out of retirement and Bündchen voiced her concern about the violent nature of football on Brady’s longterm health.

Sources close to Bündchen, 45, revealed that the supermodel is not an emotional wreck in the days since her divorce was finalized.

While the gridiron great and the supermodel are separately incredibly wealthy, the prenup allowed the swift division of their assets.
A source said, “There was an ironclad prenup set down before they married in 2009. They both have their own separate business entities, so the separation of their wealth wasn’t that complicated in the end. The only other major factor was dividing up their massive property portfolio.”
It is believed Brady, 45, will keep the $17 million mansion under construction on the “billionaire’s bunker” Indian Creek Island in Miami. They bought the property in 2020 and demolished it.
Divorce date
Although Brady was in a relationship when he first met Bündchen, they both seemed to know their connection was something special. Shortly after meeting the model, Brady broke up with his then-girlfriend, actress Bridget Moynahan.

Although Brady and Bündchen had been dating for about a month, celebrity magazines didn’t officially recognize them as a couple until January 2007.
Brady and Bündchen got married during a private ceremony in Santa Monica, California.
Brady told GQ magazine later that year that the wedding took 10 days to plan and was an intimate occasion that included steak, champagne, and cake.
Bündchen gave birth to the couple’s first child together, Benjamin Rein, in December 2009.
After 13 years of marriage, Bündchen and Brady both took to Instagram to confirm they “finalized” their divorce.
Brady wrote, “We arrived at this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together. We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way.”
Bündchen also posted a statement on Instagram that read, “The decision to end a marriage is never easy but we have grown apart and while it is, of course, difficult to go through something like this, I feel blessed for the time we had together and only wish the best for Tom always.”
She added that she and Brady will “continue co-parenting” their children.
Yards
Brady reached the 100,000 yard milestone midway through the fourth quarter, with a 15-yard completion to running back Leonard Fournette that led to a 50-yard field goal by kicker Ryan Succop.
Fans cheered as the Raymond James Stadium public address announcer recognized the achievement, although Brady did not look up when the video screen showed him on the sideline, staring down at his iPad as the Bucs trailed 13-9.
Brady went on to engineer a game-winning drive, with the second-latest passing touchdown in regulation of his career leading the Bucs to a 16-13 victory and he passed Peyton Manning for the most winning drives since the 1970 merger with 55.
Brady had said last week that the 100,000-yards milestone was just as much about the people around him as it was his own personal achievement.
“I think for me it’s a credit to all the guys that I’ve played with, and who have blocked for me, who have caught passes,” Brady said. “I think I can’t do s— in this league without guys doing what they are amazing at, too.”
It was the latest addition in Brady’s collection of NFL records that in recent years have come in particularly meaningful games.
