Sydney play their home deck very well and will be hoping to move back into the top four with a win that could see them sit as high as second on the ladder come the end of the round.
The match looms as something special, with two teams prepared to take on risk for the potential rewards.
That has many predicting a high-scoring affair, with the excellent conditions also adding weight to that line of thinking.
Both teams could squeeze into the top four at the completion of the home and away season, yet a loss today would make that more difficult than either would like. It all reeks of something of a desperate affair, with a home final up for grabs for the victor.
Team news sees a rarity, with both sides entering the contest without changes. That only adds further interest to the match, with no excuses available to the vanquished and the winner certain to move forward into the final week of the home and away season with a level of confidence that will make them difficult to topple across the month that follows.
