Claire Foden was standing up for her son whilst backstage at the Manchester AO Arena when a group of men insulted the footballer, and it led to an altercation that saw Foden’s mother get punched.
“It was carnage. It was out of control. I’ve never seen anything like it before in my life,” a witness told the Sun.
“I was in the next box and heard all the shouting and screaming so we went out to see what was happening.

“Honestly, I’m really enjoying it, but I find it quite difficult, always having away games and being away from him. He’s one now, so he’s missing me a bit.
