Last week, the New York Giants were rumored to be shopping wide receiver Kadarius Toney on the trade market. Now, he’s a Giant for life — well, at least his right arm is.

Kadarius Toney was at the Giants facility today and posted a photo on his Instagram from the team’s voluntary workout.

In that photo, Toney is holding a dumbbell in his left hand while his right bicep is prominently displayed, showcasing some new ink that all Giants fans should find interesting.

There it is, right in the light for all to see: G-I-A-N-T-S, in the team’s signature blue and red.

This is not the only commitment to New York the star wide receiver made on his body this offseason. A few months ago, he got his Giants jersey number tattooed on his back.

Behind Toney’s name and number is the Statue of Liberty and the New York skyline. You probably don’t get that tattoo, if you’re at all interested in getting traded to an NFL team in another city (or changing jersey numbers for that matter).

Back Tattoo

Turns out the tattoo is that of Kevin Brophy whose back tattoo was superimposed onto the model who is featured on the mixtape cover.

Brophy is suing Cardi B for $5 million for likeness, misappropriation and distress/ “shame” he and his family experienced due to his tattoo being featured on the raunchy cover.  In the trial, he describes the use of his tattoo as feeling like “digital molestation”.

Cardi B vehemently disagreed against this sharing; she did not see anything to showcase how he suffered from his tattoo on the cover.

“There is not one evidence where people believe it’s actually him,” she said in the courthouse. “He hasn’t gotten fired from his job. He hasn’t gotten a divorce. How has he suffered? … Please tell me how he’s suffered.”

She became even more upset throughout the trial as felt as though Brophy’s lawyer was insinuating and that cover art with the tattoo design was part of the reason for her success

“It’s really insulting to me as a woman that a man is claiming responsibility,” she says.  “When it’s my voice that has made me famous since 2014. “And that’s what got me here, not Mr. Brophy’s portion of a tattoo,” she adds.

We all know that when it comes to sports, people can get pretty irrational. In some cases, even borderline crazy. In other cases, there’s no borderline about it.

There may be no crazier way to show your fan allegiance than with a very ridiculous, very large tattoo. Instagram is awash with various fan tattoos, some of which are small and tasteful, but the vast majority of which are the exact opposite.

Instagram hashtags aren’t always the easiest to navigate, but in this case the legwork has been done for you. However, these aren’t your typical tattoo fails—more like very bad ideas executed pretty well.
