Jason kelce Eagles

On March 2, 2019, Kelce signed a one-year contract extension with the Eagles through the 2021 season.

During the 2019 season, Kelce was elected to his 3rd Pro Bowl and received his 3rd straight First-Team All-Pro Honor.

He was elected to his 4th Pro Bowl, and was one of the eight finalists for the Art Rooney Award in 2020.

On March 5, 2021, Kelce signed a new deal with the Philadelphia Eagles.

He was placed on the COVID list on January 3, 2022 and activated four days later, allowing him to keep his consecutive starts streak alive.

He went in for the team’s first offensive snap then was benched for the rest of the game.

In 2021, Kelce was selected to his fifth Pro Bowl, marking his third straight selection, and was the Eagles finalist for the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award.

He was also named a first-team All Pro by the Associated Press for the fourth time in his career.

During Thursday’s Super Bowl celebration, Eagles center Jason Kelce, dressed in Mummers garb, delivered an impassioned speech on the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

I’m going to take a second to talk to you about underdogs. I know Lane and Chris just talked about this, but I don’t think it’s been beat home enough.

Howie Roseman, a few years ago, was relinquished of all control pretty much in this organization … He was put in the side of the building where I didn’t see him for over a year.

Two years ago, when they made a decision, he came out of there a different man. He came out of there with a purpose and a drive to make this possible. And I saw a different Howie Roseman. An underdog. Doug Pederson.

When Doug Pederson was hired, he was rated as the worst coaching hire by a lot of freaking analysts out there in the media.

This past off-season, some clown named Mike Lombardi told him that he was the least-qualified head coach in the NFL.

You saw a driven Doug Pederson, a man who went for it on fourth down, went for it on fourth down … in the Super Bowl … with a trick play. He wasn’t playing just to go mediocre. He’s playing for a Super Bowl.

And it don’t stop with him. It does not stop with him.

Jason Peters was told he was too old, didn’t have it anymore. Before he got hurt, he was the best freaking tackle in the NFL.

NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Friday that Kelce agreed to a one-year contract that is worth essentially $14 million — a figure that will make Kelce the highest-paid center in the NFL on an annual basis. The Lions’ Frank Ragnow previously held that distinction at $13.5 million per season.

Kelce’s play certainly merits his placement atop the position. Kelce was named first-team All-Pro for the fourth time of his career this past season after allowing just one sack in 17 games.
