Jake Paul, a YouTuber-turned-boxer, has announced that he has signed a contract with his hometown Cleveland Browns. Check it out here.
Jake Paul : Cleveland Browns | Contract | Signed
Jake Paul was born on January 17, 1997, in Cleveland, Ohio, and grew up in Westlake, Ohio, with his older brother Logan, who is also a YouTuber and internet personality.
They started filming themselves when they were 10. Their parents are Pamela Ann Stepnick (née Meredith) and realtor Gregory Allan Paul.
On August 25, 2018, Jake Paul and his brother Logan Paul fought KSI and his younger brother, Deji Olatunji, in a pair of amateur white-collar boxing matches.
Jake Paul’s fight against Deji was the chief undercard bout before the main event, KSI vs. Logan Paul. Paul defeated Deji via technical knockout in the fifth round.

YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul is all set to venture into the world of American football.
‘The Problem Child’ recently took to his official Instagram handle to announce that he has signed a contract with the professional American football team Cleveland Browns.
Expressing his excitement for his upcoming venture, the 25-year-old said:
“Crazy news guys, I got a contract with the Cleveland Browns.”
Paul released a video at the podium with Johnson holding a jersey. The Browns’ official account replied: “Let’s go! “Welcome home!”
Paul has been clear in the past that he wants a chance in the NFL, citing his quick ascension in the boxing world as proof that he could do it, even if the entire situation stinks like a publicity scam.
“Remember when I was told I couldn’t box?” Paul sent a tweet in April. “I then became the highest-paid fighter, remained unbeaten, and knocked out every opponent I faced. Now you’re saying I cannot attend the NFL? “Please hold my beer,”
Paul also released his measurements, stating that he has an outstanding 40-yard sprint time of 4.37 seconds and a vertical leap of 33 inches. He also described his knockout power as “considerable” and his hand fighting as “outstanding.”

The media personality and celebrity boxer joined Cleveland Browns executive vice president JW Johnson at the podium after signing a contract with the team on Friday.
Neither Paul nor the Browns specified exactly what kind of contract they agreed to, but don’t expect him to be in uniform when the Browns face the New Orleans Saints in dreadful Cleveland conditions on Saturday. (Not that it was the sole giveaway, but NFL players are not allowed to wear No. 00.)
“Excited to be on the team @Browns @NFL,” Paul, who is a Cleveland, Ohio native, wrote on Twitter.
The Browns reposted the clip on writing, “Let’s go! Welcome back home.”
Paul shared the same clip to his Instagram Story, writing, “Excited for the next chapter.”
Paul was born in Cleveland and grew up in West Lake, Ohio. He is 6-0 in his boxing career with his most recent win coming against former UFC champion Anderson Silva in October.
Signed
Jake Paul has apparently signed for the Cleveland Browns… just not in the capacity that he hoped for.
In an amusing video released by the NFL franchise on Friday afternoon, Paul sits down for a fake press conference with the team’s executive vice president JW Johnson thinking he’s signing a contract to be a receiver.

After calling the moment a ‘dream come true’ and sharing that his mom is in the crowd, Paul is informed by Johnson that the deal is actually for him to join the social media team – as a ‘junior associate content assistant’ no less.
In reality, it appears the YouTuber turned boxer is more enthusiastic about the partnership.
He wrote on his Twitter that he was ‘excited to be on the team,’ accompanying the post with a video of him and Johnson holding up a ‘J. Paul 00’ Jersey.
The Browns reposted that tweet, writing ‘Let’s go! Welcome back home.’
They also said in a separate post, Great to have you on the (social) team,@jakepaul! Bundle up and be ready to bring the [fire] content tomorrow.’
The 6-8 Browns host the Saints Saturday in a bid to keep their extremely slim playoff hopes alive.
Paul, meanwhile, has fared better recently in boxing as he defeated former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva last month to move to 6-0.
