Jake Paul has apparently signed for the Cleveland Browns… just not in the capacity that he hoped for.
In an amusing video released by the NFL franchise on Friday afternoon, Paul sits down for a fake press conference with the team’s executive vice president JW Johnson thinking he’s signing a contract to be a receiver.
After calling the moment a ‘dream come true’ and sharing that his mom is in the crowd, Paul is informed by Johnson that the deal is actually for him to join the social media team – as a ‘junior associate content assistant’ no less.
Despite appearing devastated by the news in the clip, the Cleveland native agrees to sign the contract before glumly posing for a photo with Johnson.
In reality, it appears the YouTuber turned boxer is more enthusiastic about the partnership.
He wrote on his Twitter that he was ‘excited to be on the team,’ accompanying the post with a video of him and Johnson holding up a ‘J. Paul 00’ Jersey.
