It has over 9 million players and is free to play. There are companies with websites dedicated to Fantasy Premier League and Fantasy Football, including Fantasy Football Scout, which was founded in 2009 to cater to a growing online Fantasy Football audience.

Here are our tips for Fantasy Premier League 22/23 game week 5.

Gancalo Guedes

  • Position: Midfielder
  • Club: Wolves
  • Price: £6.0 Million
  • GW5 Opponent: Bournemouth (A)

This one makes sense this week, given the crisis at Bournemouth. Guedes has looked lively in his openers for Wolves and could break his duct in game week 5. Then after a goal, he could go from strength to strength.

Marcus Rashford

  • Position: Midfielder
  • Club: Manchester United
  • Price: £6.3 Million
  • GW5 Opponent: Leicester (A)

It appears Marcus Rashford may be finding back some of the form that we all know he can achieve. He is a very cheap midfield option that plays in the forward line for Manchester United. He could bag a few in the coming weeks.

Erling Haaland

Haaland will be the first pick for every FPL manager for their captain pick. He’s the only player in the game to deliver an attacking return in each of the opening four gameweeks.

He is the best player in the FPL so far. He has scored 6 goals and 1 assist in 4 games in the Premier League so far.

Martin Odegaard

The Arsenal captain has been the most in-form player for the past 2 game weeks. Odegard has been the most influential player for the Gunners. He has been the creator as well as the goal scorer for Arsenal.

With Gunners facing struggling Aston Villa this midweek we expect Odegaard to have another stellar FPL gameweek and managers can bank on him and can pick him as their captain.

Salah

Many FPL managers were disappointed last game week as Salah went blank. To make matters worse Liverpool scored 9 goals against Bournemouth yet Salah had no role to play in any of those goals.

After that disappointing gameweek last weekend. Salah will be eager to prove a point and with Liverpool facing Newcastle United this week at Anfield. Salah has a perfect chance to redeem himself.

Forest come into the tie on the back of a 2-0 home defeat to Tottenham Hotspur, but claimed a point at Everton in their most recent away match.

Steve Cooper’s side have made an incredible 18 signings this summer, with Atletico Madrid left-back Renan Lodi the most recent through the door.

The Reds certainly aren’t here to make up the numbers in their first Premier League campaign since 1999, meaning City will need to be at our best to claim all three points at the Etihad.

It leaves FPL managers with plenty of tough selection dilemmas ahead of Tuesday’s 18:00 (UK) deadline.
