New fox deal
The wild offseason of NFL broadcasting changes affected a lot of people, including Fox Sports’ Erin Andrews.
The sideline reporter for Fox’s top NFL team went from working with Joe Buck and Troy Aikman to now working with Kevin Burkhardt and Greg Olsen. She will work with Burkhardt and Tom Brady sometime in the future.
Andrews, whose own contract was set to expire this August, talked about all of the shake-ups (and why she doesn’t love the term “sideline reporter”) on the latest episode of the SI Media Podcast.
“I signed a contract. I quietly did that and I figured enough was enough with the headlines for a while. My deal was up in August. Fox came to me pretty much right away and just said, ‘We wanna keep you here.’ At that point I was unaware of who I was gonna be doing the games with. They were great about it. That’s one thing I do have to say regardless of what other opinions are out there.
My bosses at Fox, Eric Shanks and Brad Zager, were very upfront with me. Even upfront with me when I would call and be like, ‘What’s going on? What’s happening? What’s the plan? I just want to know what the plan is.’ And they would just say, ‘Hang on, hang on. I promise you’re going to be happy, just hang on.’”
Erin andrews Husband
Jarret Stoll and Erin Andrews enjoy marital bliss, but their relationship has been tested over the years.
Three years into their relationship, they arrested the former professional ice hockey player, but it did not cause them to break up.
In 2016, when she received a health scare, even though they were still dating, he stood by her and kept it a secret because of her male-centric workplace.
Three years before Stoll and Andrews became a couple, he had canceled his wedding to model Rachel Hunter and was ready to have another serious relationship.
The Fox Sports reporter had piqued his interest, and he reached out to his friend, former professional American football player, journalist, and television personality, Michael Strahan, to set them up.
Born on June 24, 1982, Stoll played hockey when he was young. From 1997 to 2002, he played for the minor and junior leagues before he joined the Edmonton Oilers and, in no time, made his first appearance in the Stanley Cup Finals.
According to The Heavy, the pair met “through their mutual friend Michael Strahan” back in 2012. They then had a magical Christmas engagement in Disneyland in 2016 and then tied the knot in Montana in 2017. Harper Bazaar covered the swoon-worthy celebration, which included a mountainside ceremony, a tee-pee-inspired tented reception, and chic attire of course.
