Las Vegas Raiders quarterback let his emotions get the better of him in his postgame press conference after he broke down and expressed his frustrations at his team’s loss.

The Las Vegas Raiders – who entered the game 2-6 – lost to an Indianapolis Colts team that fired its head coach and replaced him with an ESPN analyst who had no experience coaching in the college game, let alone in the NFL.

With former Colts center Jeff Saturday put in place as interim head coach – and first-time playcaller Parks Frazier leading the offense, Indianapolis embarrassed the Raiders in Vegas by a 25-20 scoreline.

This loss put more pressure on Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels and his team – who sit last in a competitive AFC West division. That pressure seemed to take a toll on the quarterback who let out his emotions after the game ended.

‘Sorry for being emotional. I’m just pissed off about some of the things that a lot of us try to do just to practice. What we put our bodies through just to sleep at night.,’ Carr said in his press conference after a 25-20 loss to the Colts.

‘And for that to be the result of all that effort pisses me off – pisses a lot of guys off. It’s hard knowing what some guys are doing – like I said – just to practice, what they’re putting in their body just to sleep at night. Like just so we can be there for each other.

Raiders QB Derek Carr was touted as the next big thing when he came into the NFL.

He sucks just like his brother, and Vegas needs a legit QB ASAP.

I will give it to Carr that he is tough enough to play through injury, but the results just aren’t there.

I try not to pile on too much, but the memes were definitely coming for Derek Carr.

Carr, who said of the allegations during his weekly news conference, “I don’t pay that any mind,” added: “I’ve had plenty of tough discussions standing right here with teammates. And those are some of the guys that texted me yesterday saying, ‘Don’t worry about this bull crap,’ that kind of stuff.

I can’t tell you how many texts I got from former teammates, teammates I have now, and all of these things. It’s just when you’re losing, crap happens.”

Emotional

Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr got emotional during his postgame press conference on Sunday following the team’s crushing loss to the Indianapolis Colts.

Carr appeared to cry as he was talking to reporters and appeared to be upset with how their effort translated into a 25-20 loss.

“I can’t speak for everybody, for every man, what’s going on in their head,” he said. “But I can tell you what’s going on in my head, and I’m going to give it all that I can every single time.”

Carr was asked whether there was some sort of disengagement between the team and the coaching staff.

“You know, I don’t think so. I love Josh. I love our coaches. They’ve had nothing but success, you know? Way more success than I’ve ever had. … I’m sorry for being emotional. I’m just pissed off by some of the things that a lot of us try and do just to practice. What we put our bodies through just to sleep at night.

“And for that to be the result of all that effort p—es me off, p—es a lot of guys off. It’s hard knowing what some guys are doing, like I said, just to practice.

What they’re putting in their body just to sleep at night. Just so we can be there for each other. And I wish everybody in that room felt the same way about this place. And as a leader, that p—- me off, if I’m being.”

Carr completed 24 of 38 passes for 248 yards and two scores in the 25-20 setback Sunday at Allegiant Stadium. The Raiders lost three of their last four games and are 2-7 this season.

“I love the Silver and Black and I’m going to give it everything I can every time I go out there,” Carr told reporters at his postgame news conference.

“I can’t speak for everybody, for every man, [about] what’s going on in their head, but I can tell you what’s going on in my head and I’m going to give it all that I can, every single time.”

Carr paused several times during the media session as he wiped tears off his face. He also apologized for “being emotional.”

“I’m just pissed off about some of the things, you know, that a lot of us try and do just to practice,” Carr said. “What we put our bodies through, just to sleep at night. … For that to be the result of all that effort, pisses me off.”
