Davante Adams Pushes
Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams apologized to a credentialed worker he pushed to the ground after his team’s loss to the Chiefs on Monday night.
Adams was walking off GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium toward the tunnel when he shoved a man down. Not long after, Adams apologized to the man and addressed the incident during his postgame news.

“Before I say anything, I want to apologize to the guy [camera person] running off the field and he ran and jumped in front of me,” Adams said. “I’m coming off the field and I bumped into him and pushed him.
I think he ended up on the ground, so I want to say sorry to him because that was just frustration mixed with him running in front of me and I shouldn’t have responded that way and that’s how I initially responded. I want to apologize to him for that.”
Adams later tweeted out an apology, as well.
Adams had two long touchdown receptions on Monday, including one that cut the Chiefs’ lead to one point in the fourth quarter. But he also had a pivotal reception in the fourth quarter overturned on review, and Adams collided with Raiders wide receiver Hunter Renfrow on a failed fourth down attempt that ended the game.
Shoves cameraman
Davante Adams was frustrated after the Las Vegas Raiders’ 30-29 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. He’ll regret how he took out that frustration.
On his way back to the locker room after the game, Davante Adams Pushes cameraman to the ground. ESPN’s cameras caught the act and played it on “SportsCenter” after the game. It’s not a good look for Adams and the NFL will not take kindly to it either.
Adams was clearly upset as the game ended. He and teammate Hunter Renfrow collided downfield on a fourth-and-1 pass that fell incomplete and practically ended the game. Adams slammed his helmet down in anger as he reached the sideline.
In the locker room afterward, in comments shown on ESPN, Adams apologized.
“Before I answer anything else, I want to apologize to the guy — some guy running off the field, and he ran, jumped in front of me when we’re coming off the field and I bumped into him, kind of pushed him and I think he ended up on the ground,” Adams said. “I wanted to say sorry to him for that.
That was frustration mixed with him running, literally running in front of me, and I shouldn’t have responded that way. But that’s how I initially responded so I want to apologize to him for that.”
Stats
Adams was selected in the second round with the 53rd overall pick by the Green Bay Packers in the 2014 NFL Draft.
He was the ninth wide receiver to be selected that year. On June 12, 2014, he signed a contract with the Packers.

On March 18, 2022, the Packers traded Adams to the Las Vegas Raiders in exchange for their 2022 first-round pick and second-round pick.
Along with the trade, Adams signed a five-year, $141.25M deal, making him the highest-paid wide receiver in the NFL at the time of the signing.
The trade also reunited Adams with his college quarterback Derek Carr, with both playing together at Fresno State from 2012 to 2013.
Adams made his Raiders debut in Week 1 against the Los Angeles Chargers, where he caught 10 passes for 141 yards and a touchdown in the 19–24 loss.
Adams first win with the Raiders came in week four where the Raiders won 23 -32 against the Denver Broncos, in that game Adams had 9 receptions and 101 yards.
