After graduating from Hermon High School in 1987, White started college twice, once at Quincy College and once at UMass Boston, but dropped out during his first semester each time.

White had begun boxing at age 17, and befriended former Golden Gloves champion Peter Welch.
Dana White first became the president of the UFC in 2001. With White at the helm, the UFC became the premier MMA promotion we all know and love today.
In an interview with James Werme, during his first show as president at UFC 30, a young Dana White said that he planned to make the Ultimate Fighting Championship the Super Bowl of mixed martial arts:
“We have got a sell-out crowd here of five thousand people revved and ready to go… Basically what we want to do is we want to make this [UFC] the Super Bowl of mixed martial arts. We want to make it more fan-friendly, we want to get the crowd involved in it and we want to bring back the best fighters in the world.”
According to a report by yahoo!sports, the live attendance of the event was estimated to be 3000 and the total paid gate racked up around $110,000.

He’s been married for decades to his middle schools sweetheart, Anne White.
Dana White and Anne White originally met when they were in eighth grade, and the two graduated from Hermon High School in Maine in 1987.
This was around the time when Dana first developed a passion for boxing. Dana went on to attend a semester at both UMass Boston and Quincy College in Massachusetts, but he never graduated.
The UFC President claimed that he ultimately moved to Las Vegas from Boston because mob leader Whitey Bulger was threatening him for money that he owed.
Eventually, Anne joined him and the two walked down the aisle in 1996. The pair are parents to sons Dana III and Aidan, and daughter Savannah. They reside in Las Vegas, where Dana has purchased several mansions.
Though Anne attends events with her husband, she is not a fixture in the public eye quite like he is. Dana reportedly likes to keep his family life private.

UFC president Dana White has revealed an amazing body transformation and says he feels like he’s 35 again after recently being given 10.4 years to live by a DNA analyst.
The 53-year-old posted a gym snap to Instagram on Monday in which he appears very lean with a six-pack and muscular physique.
White revealed that he has been on a ketogenic diet and that the health transformation has only taken 10 weeks and he’s dropped around 13kg.
‘I did everything he said to the letter. I lost 30 pounds, my legs were so f****d up thirteen weeks ago I couldn’t tie my shoes.
‘No more sleep apnea [now], I don’t snore, everything is gone in ten f*****g weeks.’
Dana White Weight loss made the change after recently consulting with Gary Brecka of 10X Health Systems, who has supposedly found a way to predict your death date based on your blood and DNA samples.
If you made your way through UFC President Dana White’s multimillion dollar Las Vegas home—not far from UFC headquarters—passing the outdoor pool where White swims laps against artificial currents, the Pilates room with the floor to ceiling TV for group workouts, the massage and facial room complete with an infrared LED bed.
The room where White lifts, and the “cold plunge” and the steam room where he recovers…if you made your way through all these rooms, you would eventually find the kitchen, and in the kitchen you would find… sugar.
Sugar that includes: Boston cream Klondike bars, frozen Snickers, frozen Kit-Kats, several pints of Ben & Jerry’s, powdered donuts, and Pepperidge Farm everything—cookies, Milanos, etc, etc.
“I’m not one of these guys who eats healthy or whatever,” White says. “The reason I work out is because I love food and I love to eat”
White’s exercise goals are equally succinct: “I’m trying not to get fat, and I’m trying not to get hurt.”
