Britt Reid is a former American football coach. He most recently served as an outside linebackers coach for the Kansas City Chiefs of NFL.

Reid was born in Los Angeles. He is the son of Andy Reid. For 4 years, he played football at Harriton High School, in the suburbs of Philadelphia, serving as the team captain for three seasons.

Reid played in the East-West All-Star Game as a senior.
He attended college at Temple University and received a bachelor’s degree in communications.
His coaching career was mainly because of his father Andy Reid, being a Practice Squad Coach Intern in 2009 with the Philadelphia Eagles and multiple defensive coaching positions for the Kansas City Chiefs from 2013-2020, winning Super Bowl LIV during the 2019 season.
Following the 2020 season, his contract expired and he was not resigned due to legal issues that occurred towards the end of the season.

Former Kansas City Chiefs assistant coach Britt Reid is scheduled to enter a plea on Monday to felony driving while intoxicated causing serious injury after a 2021 car crash that seriously injured a young girl.
He faces up to seven years in prison, The Kansas City Star reported.
Police said Reid was intoxicated and speeding when he hit two parked cars on an entrance ramp near Arrowhead Stadium in February 2021.
A girl in one of the cars, Ariel Young, who was 5 at the time, suffered a traumatic brain injury.

Reid is a father-of-three and has been married to his wife Kristen Nordland since 2012.
Nordland is a model for the Reinhard Model and Talent Agency.
She was born in April 1987, in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, and currently resides in Overland Park, Kansas.
She attended The Catholic University of America and received her degree in Public Relations and Communications from Temple University in 2011.
According to her LinkedIn profile she worked as an Media Relations intern at the NFL outfit Philadelphia Eagles.
She was also the assistant and Marketing and Events Coordinator at Mary K. Doughtery and Associates in 2011.
The pair has three children- daughters Somers and Saylor, and a son named Maverick.
The family of five reportedly lives in Overland Park, Kansas.
Back in 2007, Reid was charged with driving under the influence and drug violations.
The Kansas City Chiefs have reached a settlement with the family of a young girl injured in a serious crash involving former Chiefs assistant coach Britt Reid.
A release from attorneys for both the team and the girl’s family states the team has reached an agreement to cover the medical expenses of Ariel Young, the girl hurt in the crash.
“Over the last several months, representatives of the Kansas City Chiefs, Ariel Young and Ariel’s family have worked together, alongside medical experts, to develop a plan to take care of Ariel — both now, and for the rest of her life,” the statement said.
Authorities said on Feb. 4, Britt Reid’s truck slammed into a car that had run out of gas at Interstate 435 and Stadium Drive and an SUV with two children — ages 4 and 5 — inside.
Young, the 5-year-old referenced by police, suffered severe brain damage in the crash.
Attorney Tom Porto said Friday that the comprehensive plan “provides Ariel with world-class medical care and long-term financial stability.”
Reid, the son of Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, was the team’s outside linebackers coach at the time of the crash, which happened just days before the team was scheduled to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Super Bowl LV.
According to court documents, Reid’s blood alcohol content was measured at .113, and he was driving 84 miles an hour 1.9 seconds before the crash near Arrowhead Stadium.
