Brendan rodgers teeth
After finishing 7th in his debut season in charge, the Liverpool manager will be hoping to specialise in crowns come the end of the season, but for now he will have to make do with his newly-improved, dazzling white teeth.
Meanwhile, the Liverpool boss is preparing himself for a battle to retain the services of leading striker Luis Suarez and has vowed to fight tooth and nail to keep the forward at the club, despite interest from Arsenal and Real Madrid.
In Indonesia yesterday, Rodgers brushed off speculation that the unsettled Suarez would be allowed to leave Anfield, as the manager prepares for crunch talks with his troubled talisman when the Uruguayan flies out to Liverpool’s pre-season tour of Sydney this coming Monday.
Rodgers said: ‘We don’t have to sell. We are prepared to spend money to get some players in without having to sell Luis Suarez.
Unless something drastic happens, he will be staying here. He has got three years left on his contract. He is a very important member of this squad and I am looking forward to working with him.’
After a brief sabbatical, Brendan Rodgers signed on to become manager of Celtic in the Scottish Premiership.
He achieved great success with the Glasgow club, including two league titles and five domestic cup trophies, before moving in mid-2018-19 season to Leicester City.
His first season at the helm was a mixed one with early exits from domestic competitions and a 7th place finish in the Premier League.
Many Liverpool fans will remember the good times under Rodgers’ reign at Liverpool despite the lack of trophies to show.
Rodgers has dismissed links to United before, but there hasn’t been any word from him about the latest rumors.
Brendan rodgers wife
Rodgers separated from his wife, Susan, in the summer of 2014; the couple divorced in December 2015. They have two children – a son, Anton, also a footballer, and a daughter, Mischa.
Rodgers got engaged to Charlotte Searle in February 2016, and they married in June 2017. He is a boyhood Celtic fan.
On 6 March 2019, thieves broke into his home in Glasgow, stealing family possessions and medals he won at Celtic.
In May 2020, Rodgers said that he and his wife had tested positive for COVID-19 in March the same year after showing symptoms during the COVID-19 pandemic – both of them made full recoveries.
Rodgers likened his breathing difficulties to the altitude when he climbed Mount Kilimanjaro.
The couple endured losses in smell, taste, and strength for three weeks before being tested positive.
Brendan Rodgers is now the third best paid manager in the league… behind only Guardiola and Mourinho.
The 46-year-old is believed to have DOUBLED his previous salary at Leicester – taking from £5million-a-year to £10million.
This means that only old foes Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho are paid more than the Foxes gaffer.
Guardiola is the highest paid, earning an astonishing £20million-a-year at Manchester City – that’s around £384,000-a-week.
