During Brown’s first season with the Steelers, the team advanced to Super Bowl XLV but lost to the Green Bay Packers. He finished his rookie season with 16 receptions for 167 yards in ten games.
During his second NFL season, he became the first player in NFL history to have more than 1,000 yards receiving and returning in the same year. For his efforts, Brown was selected as a punt returner for the 2012 Pro Bowl.
In 2013, he became the only receiver in NFL history to record five receptions and at least 50 yards in every single game of an NFL season.
Although his on-the-field productivity continued over the next several seasons, including leading the league in receptions and receiving yards in 2014, receptions in 2015, receiving yards in 2017, and receiving touchdowns in 2018, Brown’s relationship with the Steelers soured, especially with quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, and he eventually requested a trade.
Antonio brown tweet
Antonio Brown may no longer be gracing the fields of the NFL, but he has an uncanny ability to stay in the limelight. He recently tweeted a post where he seemed to claim and compare himself to Jesus and the Beatles.
Now, there are two things that instantly caught everyone’s attention. One was that it was tweeted by Antonio Brown himself, signing off “sincerely AB”.
Secondly, the most outlandish claims, like Jesus performing in Red Rocks, seemed only possible to come from someone like him.
But as it turns out, the tweet was fake. It was created on Instagram but is not really quote attributable to him.
To refresh your memory, he threw a fit when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were playing the New York Jets last season.
In a pique, he left the field during the match, taking off his jersey and vanishing down the touchline. It was the latest in a line of baffling behavior we have come to associate him with.
Some of these incidents are referenced in the original fake quote, though they are exaggerated. For instance, his getting frostbite when forgetting to wear a boot during a cryotherapy session. The quote also referenced the aforementioned incident from the Jets game.
Nonetheless, such small matters pale in comparison to his attitude, which is demonstrated by how he threw out furniture from the 14th floor of a building, nearly injuring a minor below. Other allegations and settlements relate to sexual harassment, burglary, battery, and more.
Regret
Antonio Brown’s NFL career has been plagued by many controversies.
There’s the time he was unceremoniously released from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in January after he walked off the field following a sideline dispute.
Or when he served a three-game suspension in 2021 for misrepresenting his vaccination status to the NFL.
But the 34-year-old shared a meme that suggested neither incident qualifies as his “biggest regret.”
“My biggest regret in my career doesn’t involve calling my GM a (expletive), or showing up to Raider’s camp late in a hot air balloon with frozen feet, or throwing rocks at that UPS driver,” the meme reads, which Brown shared to Twitter Thursday. “It definitely doesn’t involve taking off my shirt off and doing a victory lap around the Jets’ stadium mid-game while throwing up the dueces.”
No. The biggest regret is just as head-scratching as many of his antics.
“My biggest regret is that I’ll never get to see me, Antonio Brown, play a game live. Sure, I can watch the games afterwards, but I can’t imagine what that was like for you all to see something like that. Like watching the Beatles or Jesus perform at Red Rocks.”
Antonio brown news
Antonio Brown had a very subtle way of asking model Cydney Christine to settle her $5,000 debt to the former NFL player.
Brown uploaded a story to his Instagram account where he tags Christine and writes “Stop. Don’t play with me.”
The model reportedly immediately wrote privately to Brown and asked him not to do anything to her.
The former wide receiver asked Christine to pay him his money or she would be “exposed,” Cydney told him to stop him for an account so he could pay her back.
Antonio Brown exposed the conversation with Christine and received a lot of criticism on social media, although the girl owed him money, the way Brown charged her for the debt was not the best, he even insulted her in the messages he sent her.
