New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara was involved in a fight with a man at a Las Vegas club. Many thought Kamara’s 2022 season could be affected as the NFL might suspend him.
His hearings were delayed and no suspension has been handed down.
The NFL has not taken any action against Alvin Kamara yet. However, a damning video has emerged of the altercation that took place outside a hotel elevator the night before last season’s Pro Bowl game.
Kamara is due to be present in court next week and this new video could speed up the NFL’s suspension process.
Kamara is likely to be suspended, but will that be during this season? The running back has already missed two games because of a rib injury.
He has been picking up speed in recent weeks and if his suspension is announced, it would be a disaster for the New Orleans Saints and fantasy managers. However, the league has entered Week 9 and any suspension will likely start in the 2023 season.
Fantasy footballers can start him this week when the Saints face the Baltimore Ravens on Monday. In his last game, Kamara rushed for 62 yards and scored a touchdown, helping the Saints put up a 24-0 score against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Assault
One of the stories that has surprisingly flown under the radar over the last months is the arrest of New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara.
The star running back was arrested back in February when he assaulted a man in Las Vegas amid the Pro Bowl. Since then, Kamara has dodged a suspension while court proceedings were ongoing.
Ahead of Alvin Kamara’s scheduled court hearing, new footage of the running back’s assault was leaked by TMZ.
The video shows the Saints star and his group beating up a man. The video, which is one minute long, all but confirms the allegations lobbied against Kamara.
The victim has already filed a lawsuit against Alvin Kamara for his and his friends assault on the man.
According to the lawsuit, the assault stemmed from an argument between the man and the Saints star’s group. Kamara has reportedly admitted to the assault after his arrest during the Pro Bowl last February.

The video surfaced after Darnell Greene had revealed he would sue Alvin Kamara for a whooping $10 million.
Greene suffered significant injuries, including a facial fracture to his right orbital bone. In the video obtained by TMZ, Kamara can be seen punching and kicking Darnell Greene before he falls to the ground.
Although the video is quite blurry and unclear, it is still a strong case against Kamara and a suspension seems likely.
In the video, he can be seen throwing multiple blows at Greene. The running back’s friends joined in and stomped Greene before clearing out the premises. As per the lawsuit, he suffered injuries to his back, neck, head, shoulder, knees and even fractured his right orbital bone.
